About the Opportunity :

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Appium Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.

This role requires a strong foundation in Python scripting, deep understanding of Appium for mobile automation, and the ability to deliver robust, scalable automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with automation testing for both Android and iOS applications especially Flutter-based apps while demonstrating expertise in debugging, end-to-end validation, and continuous integration practices.

Youll work closely with QA, DevOps, and development teams in an Agile setup to drive automation excellence across all stages of the product lifecycle.

What Youll Do :


- Design and develop automated test scripts for mobile and web applications using Python and Appium.

- Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable test automation frameworks for cross-platform mobile testing (Android/iOS).

- Conduct end-to-end automation testing, covering client, network, and server components.

- Execute regression, integration, and functional test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve complex bugs and performance issues.

- Ensure automation coverage, reliability, and maintainability across different environments and devices.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and contribute to test estimation and prioritization.

- Continuously enhance automation processes by integrating new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

- Maintain detailed documentation for scripts, execution results, and test environments.

What You Bring :


- 3 to 6 years of experience in automation testing with a focus on Python and Appium.

- Strong knowledge of mobile automation for Android and iOS platforms; experience with Flutter app automation is a plus.

- Proven ability to automate end-to-end scenarios across client, API, and backend layers.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, Agile/Scrum principles, and QA best practices.

- Strong debugging and analytical skills to identify, isolate, and fix defects effectively.

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for automated execution and reporting.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to quality and precision.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging tools, frameworks, and automation technologies.

Preferred Skills :


- Experience with API automation tools (Postman, RestAssured, or PyTest).

- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.

- Understanding of mobile device cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.

- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber
