Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Data Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines while ensuring data integrity and performance. Responsibilities include developing data models, implementing ETL processes, optimizing data infrastructures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making. The role also involves troubleshooting data-related issues and implementing solutions to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Role Details:

  • Experience:
    6-8 years (advanced Databricks & Kafka expertise)
  • Location:
    Mumbai (onsite)
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and optimize scalable real-time and batch data pipelines
  • Lead integration of Apache Kafka with Databricks, implement Medallion Architecture and CDC workflows
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices
  • Collaborate on solution design, estimation, and client presentations

Technical requirements:

  • Deep expertise in Databricks, Apache Kafka, Structured Streaming, Python/Scala
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale pipeline architectures, debugging, and optimization
  • Advanced understanding of Autoloader, CDC, SCD, cloud computing
  • Proven leadership in data engineering projects
