Role Description
This is a contract role for a Generative Engine Optimization Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks such as analyzing data, optimizing digital content, managing projects, and improving overall marketing strategies. This is an on-site role located in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced freelancer or agency specialized in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to help us optimize content for AI-powered search engines, conversational AI, and answer engines. The goal is to improve our brand's visibility and ranking in emerging generative and answer engine search results.

Scope of Work:
Audit existing content and technical SEO for generative and answer engine optimization readiness

Develop and implement content strategies based on user intent, citation-worthy facts, and AI search behavior

Optimize structured data, schema markup, and entity relevance for better AI/answer engine indexing

Create or modify content tailored for featured answers, snippets, voice search, and conversational AI responses

Collaborate to integrate AI tools or content engines for scalable content generation and optimization

Required Expertise:
Proven experience in GEO and AEO content strategies and implementation

Knowledge of AI search engines

Strong SEO technical skills including structured data, schema, and semantic SEO

Content creation skills with an understanding of AI content guidelines and E-A-T principles
