About the Opportunity

Join our dynamic Network Operations Center (NOC) team as a NOC Trainee. We are seeking highly motivated, CCNA-certified individuals from a core Computer Science background who are ready to monitor, support, and maintain our critical network infrastructure 24/7. This walk-in is your opportunity to start your career in a fast-paced network monitoring environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alarm Monitoring: Proactively monitor the network management system (NMS) for alarms, alerts, and performance degradation across network devices.
  • Initial Troubleshooting (Tier 1): Perform initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of network incidents (e.g., connectivity loss, high latency, device down) based on defined SOPs.
  • Incident Management: Accurately log, track, and escalate incidents to appropriate Tier 2/Tier 3 teams within stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Communication: Provide timely and clear communication regarding network status and resolution progress to internal stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all troubleshooting steps, incident resolutions, and network status reports.
  • Ticket Handling: Manage the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) efficiently, ensuring timely closure of resolved tickets.
  • Shift Work: Be prepared to work in a rotational shift environment (24x7) to ensure continuous network oversight.
