Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer for Baroda, Indore and Ahmedabad regions. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, providing technical support to clients, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role includes preparing and delivering technical presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and working closely with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met. The Sales Engineer will also be responsible for meeting sales targets, preparing sales reports, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management
  • Technical knowledge in HVAC, Compressed Air systems, and Instrument Calibration

·      Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries (e.g., pharma, food & beverage, automotive, chemical, etc.)

·   Conduct technical presentations and product demos to clients and consultants

·   Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and follow-ups for order closure

·   Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products based on application

·   Coordinate with the application and project team for sizing and customization

·   Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals

·   Visit industrial sites/plants for surveys, product positioning, and troubleshooting

·   Prepare and present monthly sales forecasts, reports, and competitor analysis

Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional activities

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in the relevant industries (Pharma, Process, Food, Chemical, Automobile, Healthcare) is a plus
  • Proficiency in using sales software and CRM tools
  • Ability to travel and meet clients on-site as required
