Platform Engineer Role

The role combines computer science, engineering, and problem-solving to deliver efficient solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate applications with platform services.
  • Manage configuration for smooth GitHub Projects and actions.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance and availability.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline platform operations.
  • Ensure high security and compliance across platform services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
  • Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
