Jr. Accounts executive US

Job location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all general accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, and month-end close processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., FP&A, tax, legal) to support business initiatives and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems and processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
