As a candidate for the position, you should have at least 5+ years of experience and possess the following skills: - Proficiency in Interactive PDF creation - Experience with Preflight InDesign - Ability to work with Form Fillable forms (Digital) - Knowledge of InDesign Typesetting - Familiarity with print proof preflighting - Experience with K-12 Book (E-publishing) specifically School Books - Ability to ensure compliance with design and web files such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Word - Thorough review of file formats, color management, fonts, page structure, black overprint, accessibility guidelines, etc. - Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat for managing InDesign files - Development and refinement of InDesign preflight profiles - Monitoring printer proofs and managing corrections and approvals - Assessing proof compatibility across print and digital platforms - Collaborating with design, digital, and product teams - Creating interactive PDFs with navigation, bookmark, and form features - Ability to work with Style Guides - Participating in project meetings and documenting important actions - Effective communication with supervisors, vendors, and internal/external teams - Adherence to best practices and documentation maintenance Required job skills include: - Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Preflight, PitStop, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other publishing software - Understanding of Editorial markup - Successful delivery of final products according to schedules - Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects - Effective communication and teamwork - Strong time management and multitasking skills - Attention to detail and accuracy Required Education and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - Experience in Education Publishing (Print and Digital), especially in K-12 - Minimum three years of experience in design and preflight process - Ability to learn new software and tools efficiently,
