Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled
Android Developer
with strong experience in designing and developing high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Android SDK, mobile frameworks, and modern development practices, with a passion for building scalable and user-friendly products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain app stability.
  • Participate in the full
    Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Contribute to
    software design and architecture discussions
    to ensure high-quality technical solutions.
  • Apply
    unit testing
    and
    Test-Driven Development (TDD)
    principles to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5–8 years of experience
    in software or mobile application development.
  • Strong experience with Android SDK
    and deep understanding of the Android development ecosystem.
  • Proficient with
    web services (REST/SOAP)
    integration.
  • Strong understanding of
    software architecture
    , design patterns, and clean code principles.
  • Solid experience with
    unit testing
    and
    TDD (Test-Driven Development)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    modern mobile frameworks and tools
    .
  • Familiarity with challenges of building
    scalable, reliable, and high-performance
    mobile applications.
  • Excellent
    communication skills
    with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience working in
    agile development environments
    .
  • Exposure to
    CI/CD pipelines
    for Android apps.
  • Knowledge of
    Kotlin
    ,
    Jetpack Compose
    , or other modern Android frameworks.
