Cyber Threat Engineer

You would act as a Cyber threat Engineer to help improve and expand our product capabilities. As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing the core services and defining the architecture of the system. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully contribute to the team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive development experience, and will be able to learn quickly.

As a Cyber Threat Engineer, you will:

• Monitor and analyse online content from various sources like social media sites, websites, app stores, search engines, code repositories, cloud repositories etc. for infringements in violation of customers' intellectual property or trademark or copyright rights and impersonation at large.
• Carry out online enforcement for the protection of customer' rights by reporting infringing online content to platforms, Internet intermediaries, and other third parties.
• Conduct status monitoring for enforced online content and collaborate with stakeholders for the escalation of takedown requests.
• Strategically handle pushbacks from platforms, Internet intermediaries, and other third parties.
• Escalate pushbacks from reported infringers to the manager.
• Coordinate with customer support and the manager to validate customers' copyright, IP, trademark details and authority.
• Development of relationships with platforms, Internet intermediaries, and other third parties to improve efficiency in dealing with takedown requests.
• Maintain accurate records of takedown activity and status.
• Whenever necessary, coordinate with customer support with customer enquiries, conducting research and composing reports.
• Contribute to the design and development of existing systems and products by suggesting ideas for automation, enhanced visualisation, and data presentation.

We Are Looking For:

• Strong understanding of cyber security with deep knowledge about means and mitigation of various cyber attacks.
• Experience and expertise in investigating copyright infringement.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to a strategic approach to tackling challenges.
• Strong logical and analytical skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and projects while meeting the expectations and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, driven to deliver high-quality results.
• Basic understanding of copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws
• Hardworking and self-motivated individual, with a proactive and can-do attitude, who is comfortable to have a high degree of ownership in their work from day one and is always willing to learn
