Role Description:

We are looking for a
Technical Support Engineer
to support our
IoT-based Data Logger products
. The role involves device installation support, configuration, troubleshooting, and customer interaction. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with
electronics basics + customer communication skills
.

Key Responsibilties:

  • Provide technical support for
    Data Logger installation, setup, and configuration
  • Assist customers with
    basic networking
    (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP, DHCP)
  • Troubleshoot device issues related to: Power & connectivity, Sensor connections, SD card, LAN port & Modbus / RS-485 communication
  • Diagnose issues using logs, screenshots, and customer inputs
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams for complex issues
  • Maintain service tickets, reports, and issue documentation
  • Educate customers on
    proper usage and maintenance
  • Communicate clearly with customers in
    Hindi
    and prepare documentation in
    English

Required Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of
    Electrical / Electronics
  • Understanding of
    IoT devices / Data Loggers
    (preferred)
  • Networking basics (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP Addressing)
  • Troubleshooting & field support exposure

Required Soft Skills:

  • Strong customer communication & patience
  • Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
  • Good documentation & reporting skills
