About the Opportunity
A multi-speciality hospital in the healthcare services sector seeking a clinically strong, hands-on medical officer to deliver high-quality inpatient and emergency care. The role is fully on-site in Rajpura, Punjab, and is ideal for MBBS/BAMS clinicians looking to work across medicine, emergency, and perioperative care in a busy hospital setting.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical care to inpatients and outpatients across specialties: assess, diagnose, initiate treatment, and escalate to consultants when required.
  • Manage emergency presentations—perform immediate resuscitation, stabilise patients, coordinate investigations, and arrange transfers to higher centres if necessary.
  • Perform and document routine ward rounds, monitor vital signs, interpret laboratory results and ECGs, and implement treatment plans per hospital protocols.
  • Carry out bedside procedures per scope: IV cannulation, venepuncture, wound care and suturing, bladder catheterisation, and basic airway management.
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, referrals, and handovers; liaise with nursing teams, consultants, and allied departments to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in the hospital EMR, follow infection control protocols, participate in on-call roster, and support quality & safety initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
  • MBBS or BAMS degree with valid State Medical Council registration
  • Proven clinical experience in a hospital or emergency setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency in emergency resuscitation and ECG interpretation
  • Competence in IV cannulation, venepuncture, and basic wound management
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Experience with multi-speciality hospital workflows and on-call rotas
  • Skills in minor surgical procedures and suturing
