Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SAP Bank Analyzer Consultant to join our financial services technology team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Bank Analyzer (AFI/FS-PBA/FS-CML/FS-CM) solutions to meet complex business requirements in financial and risk reporting. The role involves working closely with finance, risk, and IT stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions aligned with regulatory and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and implement SAP Bank Analyzer solutions, especially Accounting for Financial Instruments (AFI) and/or Smart AFI (S-AFI).
  • Support business requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design in areas such as:
  • Financial accounting (IFRS/Local GAAP)
  • Risk management and regulatory reporting (Basel, IFRS 9, etc.)
  • Data modeling and integration with upstream/downstream systems
  • Configure and customize SAP Bank Analyzer modules including:
  • Source Data Layer (SDL)
  • Result Data Layer (RDL)
  • Accounting Sub Ledger (AFI)
  • Integration with SAP GL (FI-GL, S/4HANA)
  • Provide expertise on sub-modules such as:
  • FS-CML (Customer Loans)
  • FS-CM (Collections & Disbursement)
  • FPSL (Financial Products Subledger), if applicable
  • Work on interfaces and data migration using tools such as BAPIs, IDocs, Web Services, or SAP PI/PO.
  • Collaborate with data architects and business analysts for ETL and data validation.
  • Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
  • Provide hypercare and post-go-live support.
  • Support ongoing system maintenance and upgrade projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in SAP for Banking or Financial Services, with at least 2 years in SAP Bank Analyzer (AFI or Smart AFI).
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, banking products, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., IFRS 9, Basel III).
  • Experience with SAP Financial Services Data Management (FSDM) or SAP FPSL is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAP modules integration (SAP FI, CO, GL, TRM).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is an advantage.
  • Certification in SAP Banking or SAP FPSL is desirable.

Preferred Experience:

  • Involvement in end-to-end SAP Bank Analyzer implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Financial instruments processing and valuation
  • Data provisioning from Core Banking or GL systems
  • Regulatory reports (e.g., EBA, RBI, MAS, etc.)
  • Exposure to cloud-based solutions and S/4HANA Financials.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹80, ₹100,000.00 per month
