Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Deposits Management Consultant to join our SAP Banking Services team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the SAP Deposits Management (DM) module and will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP DM solutions tailored for banking and financial institutions. The role requires a strong understanding of banking processes, core banking architecture, and integration with related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to deposit products, customer accounts, interest management, and account lifecycle processes.
  • Design, configure, and customize the SAP Deposits Management module to meet client requirements.
  • Lead and support SAP DM implementations and upgrades across various phases: blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
  • Integrate SAP DM with other components such as SAP Loans Management, SAP TRM, SAP CRM, SAP FICO, and third-party banking systems.
  • Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and conversions.
  • Work closely with ABAP developers to support customization and interface development.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide end-user training and create detailed documentation (functional specs, process flows, configuration guides).
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Deposits Management and support business stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards in all deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5- 8 years of experience in SAP Banking Services, with at least 3 years in SAP Deposits Management.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring deposit products, account management, interest calculation, account statements, and payment processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking industry standards, core banking operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SAP DM data models and architecture.
  • Experience with integration using SAP PI/PO, IDocs, BAPIs, or APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Banking Services certification (SAP Certified Application Professional – Financial Services).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA for Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) or SAP Banking Services 9.0/9.1.
  • Experience in agile project delivery and working with DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of treasury, payments, and risk management modules is a plus.
