Position Overview:The Regional Service Line Director is a client and market-facing leader responsible for driving our Data & AI service line across India. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on collaboration, shaping service offerings, building strong client relationships, and guiding high-performing teams to deliver meaningful business impact. It's a great fit for a leader passionate about scaling Data & AI capabilities and creating real-world value. The role is Bangalore-based, with a hybrid work setup requiring three days a week onsite.Job responsibilitiesRegional GTM of services: Executing the regional go-to-market of services.Advocate and promote their specific service line's service catalog to market demand personnel. Ensure that market demand personnel are selling from the catalog as often as possible to improve service tracing to the CRM and improving forecasting.Assisting in pursuits as the first point of contact for demand personnel. Assign specialized Regional Practitioners to pursuits to increase our right to win. Assess pursuits for service fitment and tailor existing services as necessary.Collaborate with other Service Representatives in the region to craft unique client solutions as necessary.Contribute to service development and evolution: Collaborating with the Global Service Development Team to represent their unique regional challenges and opportunities when defining go-to-market strategies for services.Collaborate with Market Directors to identify new/missing services and raise them to the Global Service Development Team. Provides continuous service feedback to the Global Service Development Team.Talent management & operations: Onboards new Regional Practitioners within their service line.Advocate for the staffing of Regional Practitioners and the delivery of Advisory services on engagements.Provides lightweight tracking and forecasting of Regional Practitioners. Maintains a skills/capabilities assessment for Regional Practitioners to aid in fitment for pursuits.Job qualifications Technical SkillsService expansion in the region: Number of closed-won deals and total contract value (TCV) by service - Including direct wins and follw-up work that grows into larger or cross–service-line engagements. Target is to do at least 50% of net IME regional revenue for the upcoming year through Data & AI deals.Service penetration: Percentage of top 40 and next 40 clients adopting Data & AI services.Client NPS: Satisfaction and loyalty scores on engagements aligned to the service line. The goal is to maintain NPS>8 in all such engagements.Internal qualitative feedback: Insights from account teams, market leaders, and internal stakeholders on partnership and value delivered.Usage of pursuit and delivery assets: Percentage of relevant pursuits using standardized tools, templates, and playbooks - reflecting consistency and best-practice adoption.Professional SkillsAt least 18 + years of Industry experience.Proven experience in managing large Data & AI practices.Strong technical delivery and sales background, with deep understanding of Data Modernization and AI practices.Strong internal and external consultative sales capabilities.Relentless focus on the market and customer.Excellent people management skills.Demonstrated consultative sales capability.Strong team collaboration and people-oriented leadership.Other things to know Learning & Development There is no one-size-fits-all career path at Thoughtworks: however you want to develop your career is entirely up to you.
