Responsibilities:

1. Pickup & Delivery of Orders

Collect packages, food, or goods from the warehouse/vendor and deliver them to customers on time.

Ensure accurate loading and unloading of items.

2. Route Planning & Time Management

Select the most efficient route for timely delivery.

Plan multiple deliveries to avoid delays and manage deadlines.

3. Customer Service

Communicate politely with customers during delivery.

Confirm order details, collect signatures/OTP if required, and ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Handling Cash & Digital Payments

Collect cash on delivery (COD) when applicable.

Maintain accurate records of payments and receipts.

5. Package Safety & Handling

Ensure items are delivered without damage or loss.

Follow safety standards when handling fragile or sensitive goods.

6. Vehicle Maintenance

Keep the delivery vehicle (bike/van/truck) clean and in good working condition.

Report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.

7. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.

Update status in delivery apps/software.

8. Compliance & Safety

Follow traffic rules and company policies.

Wear safety gear and ensure secure transportation of items.

9. Issue Resolution

Handle delivery-related problems such as incorrect address, customer absence, or damaged parcels.

Coordinate with the support team for timely resolution.
