Role Overview:

The Deputy Director – Buying will lead strategic procurement initiatives across Wrogn and K& K. This role involves optimizing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic buying plans and procurement policies
  • Lead and manage the buying team to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to inform buying decisions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement activities with business goals
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and improve procurement processes
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities and maintain long-term partnerships

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; preference for NIFT graduates
  • Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain such as CSCP or CPSM is preferred
  • Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools
