We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with 12+ years of experience in data engineering and 8+ years of hands-on expertise in Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in ELT, data modeling, integration, and Kubernetes, along with experience in Azure Data Factory and Databricks. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with proven project management and team leadership skills in agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ELT processes on Azure and Databricks.
  • Build and maintain data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory and other Azure services.
  • Work with data modeling, transformation, and cloud-native architectures to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Deploy and manage workloads using Kubernetes for containerized data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
  • Lead and mentor small teams, ensuring agile best practices are followed.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years in Data Engineering, with 8+ years on Azure stack.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ELT, and Data Modeling.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Python, and SQL.
  • Proven experience in data integration, orchestration, and cloud-native design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Azure and AWS certifications.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum project management.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.
