Job Title: Sr. / Jr. Collection Executive

Department: Finance / Accounts Receivable / Credit Control

Reports To: Collection Manager / Accounts Manager / Finance Head

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift - Night (Rotational)

Job Summary:

The Collection Executive is responsible for following up with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices, maintaining accurate records of collections, and resolving payment-related issues. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain positive customer relationships while achieving collection targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with clients/customers via calls, emails, and visits (if required) to ensure timely collection of dues.
  • Track and monitor accounts receivable and aging reports on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payments, and commitments.
  • Coordinate with the billing, sales, and finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.
  • Send payment reminders and collection letters as per company policy.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers when necessary.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
  • Handle escalations professionally and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting collection goals.
  • Support the finance team during audits and month-end closing.
