ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our team working on video surveillance solutions deployed on edge devices. The role focuses on manual testing of video analytics, streaming, and system performance to ensure reliability and quality in real-world scenarios. You will collaborate with development and integration teams to validate features and deliver robust solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for video surveillance applications on edge platforms.Perform manual functional, integration, and system-level testing across diverse hardware and software configurations.Identify, document, and track defects, work closely with development teams for resolution.Validate video streaming quality, latency, and analytics accuracy under varying network and environmental conditions.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.Analyze test results, identify gaps, and recommend improvements in processes and tools.NoteWhile the current focus is on manual testing, there may be opportunities to contribute to test automation initiatives in the future.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.3+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in video surveillance or multimedia systems.Familiarity with Linux-based systems, networking concepts, and debugging tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Linux commands and familiarity with python.Preferred SkillsHands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).Ability to perform stress, load, and endurance testing manually and via automation scripts.Understanding of video streaming protocols (RTSP, RTP) and edge device solutions.
