Job Description – Data Engineer (3-5 Years)

Location: Pune, India

Experience: 3–5 Years

Domain: Finance (US Market Exposure)

Salary: 7LPA to 13LPA

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in data visualization and ETL tools to support our growing Finance domain projects focused on the US market. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building data solutions, managing complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ETL workflows, and reporting dashboards.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions in Power BI and Tableau.
  • Build, monitor, and support data integrations using Informatica.
  • Ensure high-quality, clean, and reliable data for financial and business reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance (US market) to understand and deliver domain-specific insights.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on data-related issues and provide long-term solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Excellent hands-on expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Informatica.
  • Proven ability to design and maintain BI dashboards and data models.
  • Good understanding of Finance domain processes, ideally with exposure to US Market.
  • Strong SQL and database skills for querying, data transformation, and optimization.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams.

Good to Have

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data engineering tasks.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹800, ₹1,300,000.00 per year
