Nagrik Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Accounts to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance for our real estate operations. The role requires strong expertise in real estate accounting, RERA compliance, audits, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Manage complete accounting operations (GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, book closure).
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle project-wise accounting, cost control, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
  • Manage escrow accounts, RERA accounting, and customer collections.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

  • Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
  • Ensure timely filing of returns and coordination with tax authorities.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with RERA, Companies Act, and applicable laws.

Budgeting, MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
  • Track budget vs actuals and recommend corrective actions.

Audit & Internal Controls

  • Lead internal and statutory audits and close audit observations.
  • Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor the accounts team.
  • Coordinate with sales, legal, CRM, procurement, and project teams.
  • Provide financial insights to management for strategic decisions.

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of real estate accounting and RERA compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings.
  • Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
