Electromechanical Engineer

Location: Pune or Coimbatore

Experience: 2-5 years

Your Role

As an Electromechanical Engineer , you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical cabinets and connectivity solutions for high-tech machines. Youll work closely with project managers, lead engineers, and cross-functional teams to engineer advanced system enclosures and cabling harnesses that support the next generation of lithography machines.

In this role, you will:

  • Design electrical cabinets containing controllers, power supplies, computing modules, and other electronics.
  • Engineer cabling harnesses and routing between PCBAs, sensors, actuators, racks, and connection interfaces.
  • Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD designs and technical product documentation (TPD).
  • Collaborate with mechanical designers, flow and temperature engineers, and external suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with EMC, safety, diagnostics, and thermal/cooling requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and validation/testing of electromechanical systems.
  • Support production and service engineers by transferring design knowledge and resolving issues.

Your Profile

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in electronic function design within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools (preferably NX and TCE).
  • Strong understanding of cabling concepts, connectivity, EMC, and safety standards.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and conducting design reviews.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
