Role & responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Ensure timely troubleshooting of electrical faults to minimize downtime.

  • Monitor electrical load distribution and optimize energy usage

  • Lead electrical design, installation, and commissioning for new projects.

  • Review and approve electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory norms, electrical safety codes, and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits of electrical systems at the project sites.

  • Train and guide staff on electrical safety and emergency procedures.

  • Manage procurement of electrical materials, spares, and consumables.

  • Negotiate with vendors and ensure cost-effective solutions.

  • Monitor departmental budgets and control costs without compromising quality.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, and PLC-based automation.

  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and project execution.

  • Strong knowledge on site erection and dismantling

  • Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and MS Office.
  • Awareness of safety standards (ISO, OSHA, IEC codes, etc.)

Preferred candidate profile

  • Willing to travel
  • Willing to work in bio-mining projects
  • Experience in steel & cement manufacturing will be highly preferred
  • Immediate joiners are highly preferred
