BMC is looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at BMC. Youll play an important role in ensuring the quality of our cloud-based enterprise software solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone who has hands-on QA experience and is ready to grow their automation and cloud testing skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and product managers to understand feature requirements and write test cases.
  • Create and execute manual and automated test cases to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining automation test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Help ensure product stability by participating in regular regression and integration testing.
  • Report defects, track them to resolution, and participate in reviews of test plans and product documentation.
  • Support efforts to improve testing processes, efficiency, and coverage.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum team activities like sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

To ensure youre set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
  • You have experience with automation tools such as Selenium , Postman , or similar.
  • You have basic scripting or programming knowledge in Java , Python , or .
  • You have understanding of API testing using tools like SOAPUI or REST clients .
  • you are familiar with version control systems such as Git .
  • You ahve exposure to Agile development practices and tools like JIRA .

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or GCP .
  • Experience working with Docker , Kubernetes , or other container technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins , Spinnaker ).
  • Experience in performance or security testing is a plus.
