Job Summary

The Accountant will handle core accounting functions, including financial analysis, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a solid foundation in accounting principles and experience in handling day-to-day financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, including recording day-to-day financial transactions such as sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Assist in preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist in preparing and filing TDS, GST returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits and reviews.
  • Provide financial insights to assist management in decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and
    ERP
    systems (e.g. Tally).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, AS, Ind AS).
  • Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
