Job Title: Assistant Manager Legal

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: Minimum 5+ Years (Real Estate/ Hospitality Sector Preferred)

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced Asst Manager - Legal with strong expertise in real estate laws, contracts, and compliance to oversee all legal aspects. The ideal candidate will ensure the companys operations are legally sound, minimize risks, and support business objectives with effective legal strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including sale deeds, lease deeds, joint venture agreements, MoUs, and other real estate & operator agreements/ contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence on property documents, title verification, and land acquisition matters.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory authorities and other applicable laws.
  • Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsels
  • Handle litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution
  • Provide legal advisory support to management on business strategies, transactions, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of legal developments, policies, and regulations affecting the real estate industry.
  • Assist in corporate secretarial matters, licenses, and statutory filings as required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of property laws, real estate regulations, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in drafting and vetting real estate contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation and litigation management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with project, finance, and sales teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualification:

  • LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
  • Prior experience in reputed real estate/ hospitality firms or legal firms handling real estate matters is a must.
