1. Ensure the implementation of the EHS management system and norms as per the IMS and EHS manual, respectively.

2. Identify the training needs, designing and imparting training for staff, visitor, sub-contractor, and workmen.

3. Monitor the evaluation of compliance to legal requirements as identified by the cluster EHS manager at the prescribed frequency.

4. Conducting periodical site EHS inspections & report the finding for corrective action.

5. Review & appraise the site EHS performance and facilitate for improvement.

6. Ensure the proactive performance monitoring through systems such as key performance indicator on EHS.

7. Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote EHS at workplace

8. Responsible and accountable for the performance of Site EHS stewards within his area.

9.. Co-ordinate the Risk Assessment exercises in their respective area along with Engineer in-charge in preparation of Safe Work Methods for all activities. Appraise the status to EHS in-charge for updating project risk management register.

10. Conducting investigation of all incidents & initiate necessary corrective actions at sites.

11. Analyze incident trends & initiate necessary corrective actions at sites.

12. Act as a catalyst for establishing, implementing & maintaining emergency preparedness and response procedure at project sites.

13. Reporting the site EHS performance.

14. Accountable for appraising the management for project EHS plan implementation.

15. Conduct EHS inspections as per monthly schedule.

16. Prepare and sent to weekly & monthly report to HQ

17. Verify the quality of PPEs & safety gadgets.
