Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HCM Payroll Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud and/or EBS Payroll to join our HR Technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll configuration, processing, reporting, integrations, and production support. The consultant will work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to implement, enhance, and support Payroll and Core HR processes, ensuring smooth operations and compliance across the organization

  • Roles and Responsibilities:

Payroll Functional Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain payroll elements, pay groups, payroll areas, and related setup in Oracle HCM Cloud / EBS. - Perform payroll processing, including Quick Pay, Retro Pay, Regular Run, NACHA, costing, and payroll reconciliation. - Implement payroll changes, enhancements, and updates for statutory, client-specific, and global requirements. - Handle payroll year-end activities, including generation of W2s and statutory reports. - Support multi-country payroll setups and vendor integrations (e.g., ADP, TALX, SuccessFactors). - Design, implement, and maintain Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and HDL Loader processes. - Provide production support, troubleshoot payroll issues, and resolve tickets within SLA.

HCM Functional Responsibilities: -

Work on Core HR modules such as Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (TM), Benefits, and Compensation. - Create and maintain Supervisory Organizations, Positions, Jobs, Cost Centers, and their hierarchies. - Configure and manage Business Processes, Security Groups, and Roles. - Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Report Writer or OTBI. - Assist in requirement gathering, GAP analysis, functional design, and testing (UAT/SIT). - Provide training and support to HR business users on payroll and HR processes.

Project & Collaboration:

- Participate in new implementations, rollouts, and enhancements of Oracle HCM Cloud/EBS Payroll. - Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, and external vendors to design and implement integrations and interfaces. - Maintain documentation for configuration, processes, and user guides. - Monitor and improve payroll and HR processes for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. - Mentor junior team members and lead payroll functional activities when required.

Required Skills and Experience: - Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in HR, Finance, IT, or related field. - Experience: Minimum 815 years of IT experience with 5+ years in Oracle HCM Payroll functional role. - Strong experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll or Oracle EBS Payroll configuration and processing. - Hands-on experience with Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, HDL Loader, OTBI/Reports. - Knowledge of Core HR modules: PA, OM, TM, Benefits, Compensation. - Experience with vendor payroll integrations and multi-country payroll operations. - Experience in production support, issue resolution, and S
