Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Senior Consultant to join our team as a remote contractor. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in D365 F&O with hands-on experience in design, development, customization, integration, and deployment of enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, customization, and development of D365 F&O modules using X++, C#, and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs, Logic Apps, Azure Services, and Power Platform tools.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, technical design documentation, and provide effort estimations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing implementations and enhancements.
  • Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices and Microsoft standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers when required.
  • Support deployment, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Technical Skills Required

  • 10–12 years of total experience with at least 6+ years in D365 F&O Technical development.
  • Strong proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, SSRS, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in data entities, extensions, workflows, and custom reports.
  • Expertise in D365 integrations (REST APIs, OData, Data Management Framework, Power Automate, Logic Apps).
  • Good understanding of D365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Production modules.
  • Familiarity with LCS (Lifecycle Services), Azure cloud environments, and version management.
  • Hands-on experience in performance tuning and code optimization.

Preferred Skills

  • Microsoft certifications in D365 or related technologies.
  • Exposure to Power BI, PowerApps, or Dataverse.
