Internship: Application Tester (Unpaid)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Application Testing Intern to help us test our mobile application thoroughly. As a tester, you will explore the app in every possible way, identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks, and provide structured feedback for improvements.

This is an unpaid internship, ideal for students or freshers who want to gain real-world experience in software testing and contribute to a live project.

Responsibilities

  • Test the application across multiple devices, platforms, and scenarios.
  • Identify, reproduce, and document bugs, crashes, or performance issues.
  • Evaluate usability and suggest improvements in UI/UX.
  • Report issues clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots, or screen recordings.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely rectification.
  • Explore edge cases and test beyond expected workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile apps and willingness to learn testing methods.
  • Ability to think like an end-user as well as a problem-solver.
  • Good communication skills for documenting and reporting issues.
  • Access to an Android/iOS smartphone (having both is a plus).
