Job Description – CCTV Engineer

Position: CCTV Engineer

Location: IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida

Department: IT Cell

Reports To: Head IT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, and related equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of CCTV systems to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and firmware upgrades for security systems.
  • Integrate CCTV systems with access control, networking, and monitoring software.
  • Provide technical support and resolve on-site/remote CCTV issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper documentation of installations, service reports, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security standards while handling equipment and cabling.
  • Train and guide junior staff or end-users in operating CCTV systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of IP-based CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, video management software (VMS), and networking concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, layouts, and technical manuals.
  • Hands-on experience in cabling, power supply installation, and system integration.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with flexibility for fieldwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CCTV / Networking / Security Systems.
  • Experience with biometric access control, fire alarm systems, or building management systems (BMS).

Knowledge of remote monitoring tools and cloud-based CCTV solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹26,000.00 per month
