Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager based in Nagpur. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials. Additional responsibilities include analyzing market trends, maintaining accurate records of purchases, inventory, and budgets, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with company policies, cost optimization, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in procurement strategies, supplier management, and cost analysis
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and maintaining procurement records
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in procurement-related software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience in the agro-industrial or manufacturing sector is a plus
