We're not another "design shop." We are building a brand that sits at the
intersection of UX strategy + Shopify + CRO
. And we're looking for a
founding developer
who wants to build something big alongside us.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shopify & Headless Developer, located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. We are looking for a
Founding Headless Shopify Developer
who will own the
technology and development direction
of
AdScalar
. This is a
leadership + ownership role
with
sweat-equity
— not a salary-based job.

You will:

  • Architect and build
    high-conversion Shopify storefronts
    .
  • Lead the transition to
    headless commerce
    , React, Hydrogen, etc.).
  • Implement
    CRO-focused UX improvements
    that directly impact client revenue.
  • Work closely with the founder to
    shape tech vision, workflows, and hiring
    as we scale.
  • Act as a
    co-founder in spirit
    — making long-term decisions, not just executing tasks.

What We're looking for ?

  • 4-5+ years of
    Shopify development
    experience (themes, custom apps, Liquid).
  • Strong knowledge of
    headless commerce
    , Hydrogen, React, GraphQL, APIs).
  • Deep understanding of
    D2C user experience & CRO best practices
    .
  • Ability to work in a
    fast-paced, lean startup environment
    .
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — looking to build equity & long-term upside, not just a paycheck.
