As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children aged 3 to 5 years. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the intellectual, emotional, and social development of preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. You will work closely with a team of educators and parents to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes early childhood development.

Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Planning:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with the preschool curriculum. Incorporate various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities of children. Introduce and reinforce basic academic concepts, including numbers, letters, colors, shapes, and pre-writing skills.
  • Classroom Management:
Create a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Establish and enforce classroom rules and behavioral expectations, promoting positive discipline techniques. Encourage student participation, engagement, and independence in classroom activities. Supervise children during all activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Individualized Support:
Observe and assess each child's development and progress, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child. Collaborate with parents, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement individual education plans, if required.
  • Parent Communication:
Foster open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress, behavior, and milestones. Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss children's development, address concerns, and set goals. Share resources and strategies with parents to support their child's learning and development at home.
  • Classroom Environment:
Create a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes positive social interactions and teamwork. Organize and maintain a variety of learning materials, toys, and resources suitable for preschool children. Design and set up learning centers to encourage hands-on exploration and imaginative play.
  • Health and Safety:
Ensure a safe and healthy environment by following all safety protocols and regulations. Administer basic first aid when necessary and promptly report any accidents or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Monitor and address any health or hygiene concerns among the children. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) OR relevant certifications in Early Childhood Education.
  • Proven experience working with preschool-age children, either in a formal or informal setting.
  • Deep understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
