Job Summary

We are looking for a Payment Posting Executive with solid experience in US Healthcare RCM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for posting payments accurately into the Practice Management (PM) system, reconciling batches, handling EOBs/ERAs, and ensuring account accuracy. If you have a keen eye for detail and strong reconciliation skills, we want you on our team

Key Responsibilities

  • Post payments (ERA/EOB) into the PM system with 100% accuracy
  • Reconcile payment batches with deposit logs and payment summaries
  • Review and process ERA kick-outs; reconcile ERA batches to electronic fund transfers (ETFs)
  • Retrieve and track missing EOBs from payer websites
  • Ensure timely and correct posting for large payment batches
  • Take full ownership of assigned batches and resolve discrepancies
  • Reconcile patient accounts and clean transaction errors to reflect correct balances
  • Coordinate with team members for issue resolution and process improvement

Candidate Profile / Requirements

  • Experience: 2-7 years in US Healthcare Payment Posting
  • Strong understanding of RCM workflows and payment lifecycle
  • Familiar with payer-specific rules, nuances, and denial codes
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel (v-lookups, filters, basic formulas)
  • Good written communication skills for documentation and reporting
  • Understanding of US healthcare terminology, acronyms, and billing nomenclature
  • Strong data entry & typing skills for high-volume processing
  • Experience with NextGen PM system preferred
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on batch ownership
  • Immediate Joiners Preferred

Preferred Tools & Platforms

  • PM Systems: NextGen (preferred), eCW, or similar
  • Clearinghouses: Change Healthcare, Availity, Waystar
  • Familiarity with payer portals (UHC, BCBS, Medicare, Aetna, etc.)
