Front Office Assistant

Job Summary:
The Front office Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service experiences from check-in to check-out, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth front office operations while maintaining the hotel's service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with warmth and professionalism.
- Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following standard procedures.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests accurately using the property management system (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain updated records of bookings, cancellations, and no-shows.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for room readiness and guest needs.
- Provide guests with hotel information, services, and local attractions.
- Uphold the highest standard of security, confidentiality, and guest privacy.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel front office or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software/PMS .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
