We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Network & Infrastructure Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of network infrastructure, including setting up and maintaining printers, biometric systems, and software installations. This role also includes supervising the setup and expansion of LAN/WAN networks and associated cabling infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and cabling.

• Supervise the cabling work for new or expanded network environments.

• Set up and manage network printers, including driver installation, IP configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Install and maintain biometric attendance/access control systems, including connectivity and data syncing.

• Oversee the installation and updating of software on workstations and servers.

• Ensure proper network security configurations and access control.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for hardware procurement and structured cabling.

• Perform regular network performance checks, backups, and preventive maintenance.

• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, network diagrams, and configuration changes.

• Provide technical support to users for hardware and software issues.

• Assist in IT infrastructure planning for new locations or office expansions.
 
Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT support or network setup roles.

• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, cabling standards, and network hardware.

• Experience with printer setup and troubleshooting, preferably in a networked environment.

• Knowledge of biometric system setup and management.

• Proficiency in software installation, configuration, and updates.

• Basic knowledge of network security protocols.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently
