Job Title: Safety Officer – Auto Parts Manufacturing Location: [Ludhiana, Punjab] Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:

We are a growing auto parts manufacturing company dedicated to quality, innovation, and workplace safety. To strengthen our safety standards, we are looking for a qualified Safety Officer with an RLI-certified degree in Industrial Safety to ensure compliance, risk management, and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections across the manufacturing unit.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports with preventive measures.
  • Organize safety training, awareness programs, and emergency drills for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, labor laws, and relevant environmental & safety regulations.
  • Supervise the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe handling of machinery and chemicals.
  • Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records for audits and inspections.
  • Coordinate with statutory authorities and external agencies during inspections or compliance audits.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Mandatory RLI (Regional Labour Institute) Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety.
  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Engineering, Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-6 years of experience as a Safety Officer in an auto parts/automotive/manufacturing setup.
  • In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety laws, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, observation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and training abilities.
