Role & responsibilities

Order Fulfillment Management: Efficiently manage and coordinate the timely dispatch of finished goods based on sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with production, sales, and warehousing teams to streamline the order fulfillment process.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and warehousing, to ensure smooth and timely delivery to various destinations across PAN India and for export sales.

Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, negotiate favorable terms, and continuously evaluate performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.

Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all necessary shipping and export documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations, including customs requirements, to facilitate seamless movement of goods.

Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and product obsolescence while optimizing warehouse space.

Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the logistics operations, negotiate freight rates, and explore innovative solutions to enhance cost efficiency without compromising on service quality.

Route Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for optimizing delivery routes to minimize transportation costs and reduce the carbon footprint, contributing to sustainability objectives.

Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and address customer feedback and concerns related to logistics, ensuring a positive customer experience and timely resolution of any issues.

Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations and regularly analyze and report on performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes, technology adoption, and overall supply chain efficiency to enhance overall business operations and customer satisfaction.To ensure completion of monthly documentation, transportation documentation, logistics documents etc.
