Maldives – Resort Construction Project

The Stores Manager will be responsible for managing all materials, equipment, and consumables required for the construction of a luxury resort project. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient material handling, and timely distribution to support smooth project execution in a remote island environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management

Establish and maintain a robust inventory control system for construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Monitor stock levels, track usage, and forecast requirements to avoid shortages or overstocking.

  • Procurement Support

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Verify quality and quantity of incoming supplies against purchase orders and specifications.

  • Storage & Handling

Organize and maintain safe, secure, and efficient storage facilities.

Implement proper handling procedures to minimize damage, wastage, and loss.

  • Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and returns of materials.

Prepare daily/weekly reports on stock status, consumption, and discrepancies.

  • Compliance & Safety

Ensure storage practices comply with company policies, HSE standards, and Maldives regulations.

Support audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation and records.

  • Team Management

Supervise storekeepers and material handlers.

Train staff on inventory systems, safety procedures, and material handling practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in construction or resort projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Experience in remote or island-based projects is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100, ₹140,000.00 per month
