Job Description
- Adequate well trained staff available for the department based on the scope of tests, complexity of tests and volume of work in the department.
- Ownership of Instruments and tasks assigned to each staff.
- Monitoring equipment function through routine equipment maintenance (PM & calibration).
- Monitoring reagent, calibrator and control inventory. To ensure that expired material is not in stock or in use.
- Ensure all department staff has adequate resources to perform various aspects of work required.
- Review of Validation records for new kits with evidence.
- Identify the need for adding new tests in scope.
- Active participation in QC review, internal audits & external audits.
