Job Title: Pathologist

Department: Laboratory/Pathology

Reports to: Laboratory Manager/Head of Pathology

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnostic Services:

- Examining Specimens: Analyze tissues, cells, and bodily fluids to diagnose diseases.
- Providing Accurate Reports: Deliver precise and timely reports to clinicians.
- Diagnosing Diseases: Identify and diagnose various conditions, such as cancer, infections, and genetic disorders.
- Conducting Autopsies: Perform post-mortem examinations to determine cause of death.

2. Collaboration and Quality:

- Collaborating with Healthcare Team: Work with clinicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
- Staying Updated: Remain current with advancements in pathology and laboratory techniques.
- Quality Control: Ensure high-quality laboratory practices and adherence to safety protocols.

3. Research and Education:

- Participate in research, teaching, and training programs.

4. Diagnostic Center Setup:

- Assess health kiosk machines and contact manufacturers for procurement.
- Arrange reagents and other materials for laboratory testing.
- Oversee administration of diagnostic and franchise centers.

5. Online Consultation:

- Manage doctors for online consultation services.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnoses.

6. Staff Management:

- Appoint and train nurses and other staff at diagnostic and franchise centers.
- Ensure staff are knowledgeable about laboratory procedures and patient care.

7. Health Checkup Camps:

- Analyze patient data and arrange health checkup camps.
- Collaborate with local hospitals and pathology centers to promote health awareness.

8. Partnerships:

- Develop relationships with local hospitals and pathology centers.
- Ensure seamless integration of diagnostic services.

Requirements and Skills:
1. Medical Degree: MD/MBBS with specialization in Pathology.

2. Experience: Relevant experience in pathology and laboratory management.

3. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage teams and make strategic decisions.

4. Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.

This role requires a highly skilled Pathologist with leadership and management skills to oversee diagnostic services, staff, and partnerships.

Pay: From ₹400,000.00 per year
