We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Performance Reporting Analyst
Business: Intl Wealth & Premier Banking
Principal responsibilities
Financial Control - Direct cost review, forecasting, accruals, invoicing, and review of Purchase OrdersPrepare high quality Management Information System and ad hoc reports to meet the requirements of the businessCarry out month-end close activities, review and preparation of accruals, preparing and submitting journalsPreparing and consolidating workforce plan, in coordination with the regions and functions. Ensure absolute accuracy of the underlying data.Ensure transparency, monitoring (monthly dashboard) and reporting progress against plans, quality & costsPrepare and follow up on action items from global and regional callsParticipate in design of reporting decks and ongoing production ownership for quantitative management informationResource Management – including headcount tracking, reporting,design, and analysisSteep but wide learning curve across a global complex business with a diverse product rangeQualifications:
Educated to graduate level (or equivalent level of experience)Strong Excel (particularly large data sets / modelling; Power Query, Power Pivot, Think-Cell, etc.) and report production Prior Finance Business Partnering, Cost Management, or Cost Transformation experience of producing high quality reporting to tight deadlinesStakeholder Management ability to engage and build effective relationships with team and stakeholders Strong communicator – able to express ideas via various communication channels Analytical analysis, data mining and scenario modelling experience Effective presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.An Understanding of cost allocation methodology and modelsYou'll achieve more at HSBC
