Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance In Charge for Machinery to oversee and manage equipment maintenance operations. This mid-level, full-time position is based in Hyderabad, requiring a minimum of 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of all machinery while upholding safety standards and promoting a productive work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance of machinery and systems is essential to maintain operational efficiency. (Mandatory skill)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills are crucial for diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime. (Mandatory skill)
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems to oversee the operation and repair of various machines. (Mandatory skill)
  • Ability to perform equipment calibration to ensure accuracy and precision in operations and output.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance to ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry safety protocols.
  • Experience in team supervision to lead maintenance personnel effectively and coordinate tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, required to liaise between different departments and provide clear updates on maintenance issues.
  • Analytical thinking for evaluating maintenance procedures and implementing improvements when necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily maintenance activities, ensuring all machinery is functioning at optimal levels.
  • Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to prevent machinery breakdowns and extend equipment life.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical failures, ensuring timely resolution to maintain productivity.
  • Supervise calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company's quality standards.
  • Train and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and evaluating performance regularly.
  • Maintain detailed reports on maintenance activities, including equipment status and repair timelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align maintenance strategies with overall company objectives.
