About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong aesthetic sense, a keen eye for detail, and the ambition to grow within a fast-paced, design-driven environment. You will work closely with senior designers and project teams to support design development, client presentations, and on-site execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing interior design concepts, layouts, and material boards.
  • Support the creation of 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, and detailed working drawings.
  • Participate in client meetings, document discussions, and assist in translating requirements into design deliverables.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely material selection and project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements, quality checks, and project supervision.
  • Maintain project documentation, design files, and sample libraries.
  • Collaborate with project managers and the design team to ensure smooth execution from concept to completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, colour palettes, and ergonomics.
  • Ability to create mood boards, presentations, and accurate design documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience:

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in interior design or interior project execution.
