About The Role
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the process industry or technical sales, and be familiar with food, dairy, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors. The role requires someone who is active, energetic, highly motivated, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), has strong customer service focus with proficiency in English, and holds a valid driving license. A commitment to professionalism and company values is essential.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Industry Segment Managers to find optimal solutions for customers.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge to effectively promote and sell. Identify and target new accounts and opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and adapt processes to meet market needs. Achieve sales targets and penetrate the market.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure their satisfaction.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical sales or the process industry.
- Experience working with food, dairy, pharma, and chemical industry customers.
- Active, energetic, and highly motivated with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong customer service orientation with proficiency in English.
- Valid driving license is required.
- Commitment to professionalism and company values.
