Project Manager Civil

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the

planning, coordination, and execution of prefab home construction projects at our Baddi

facility and respective sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless

coordination between the factory, design team, and on-site execution team while maintaining

strict adherence to timelines, quality standards, and technical processes.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Project Planning and Scheduling :

a. Develop detailed Project Plan, timelines and work breakdown structures.

b. Forecast resources (manpower, material delivery, equipment) and plan

accordingly.

c. Use Project Management tools (MS Project, etc) for scheduling.

2. Project Coordination and Execution including the Interior works :

a. Act as a primary point of contact between the factory, site team, and the

design team.

b. Ensure all project activities are executed as per approved drawings, technical

standards and project timelines.

c. Maintain clear and effective communication across departments for smooth

project execution.

d. Coordinate delivery schedules, installation activities and resource allocation

between factory and site.

e. Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to maintain budget efficiency.

3. Procurement & Resource Management :

a. Coordinate procurement of materials and the vendors along with the

subcontractor services.

b. Ensure timely availability of resources to avoid project delays.

c. Maintain inventory control of construction materials.

4. Risk Management and Compliances :

a. Identify potential project risks (delays, cost overruns, safety hazards)

b. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, safety standards and

environmental laws.

c. Conduct safety audits and enforce safety protocols.

5. Quality Assurance & Technical Supervision :

a. Oversee the implementation of quality control procedures at every stage.

b. Ensure strict compliance with technical standards, tools, and construction

methodologies.

c. Oversee quality control at every stage of execution from prefabrication at

the factory to on-site assembly.

d. Resolve technical issues that arise during execution.

e. Take documented approvals at every milestone to maintain accountability and

traceability.

6. Team Leadership and Human Resource Management :

a. Manage site contractors, skilled/ unskilled workers as well as sub contractors.

b. Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance and resolve conflicts.

c. Motivate and guide the workforce to maintain productivity.

d. Conduct training sessions for technical skill development.

e. Foster a culture of discipline, safety, and accountability within the execution

team.

7. Documentation and Reporting :

a. Maintain records of site activities, approvals, inspections and changes.

b. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports. Maintain daily progress

records of execution teams and consolidate into weekly management reports.

c. Ensure contract documents/ invoices are updated and archived properly.

8. Change & Claim Management :

a. Manage change orders and document deviations from original plans.

b. Evaluate and process claims from contractors and vendors

c. Ensure any modifications are properly documented and approved.

9. Project Handover and Closing :

a. Ensure project completion with approved scope and schedule.

b. Oversee testing, commissioning and final inspections.

c. Prepare maintenance manuals.

Requirements :

1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management/ Architecture

(preferred).

1. 5+ years of proven experience in project management, prefabricated construction or

modular housing projects.

1. Strong technical knowledge of prefab construction methods, tools and processes.

2. Proficiency in project management tools. MS Office, and site documentation

practices.

1. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.

2. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while adhering to timelines and quality

standards.

1. Willingness to be stationed at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh with regular site visits.
