Role & responsibilities

  • Collect and label blood samples from donors or patients.
  • Perform blood grouping, cross-matching, and screening tests.
  • Ensure proper storage and inventory management of blood units.
  • Maintain accurate records of donors, blood stock, and test results.
  • Prepare blood components (plasma, platelets, etc.) as per requirements.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
  • Assist during blood donation camps and coordinate with hospital departments.
  • Calibrate and maintain blood bank equipment regularly.

Qualifications:

  • DMLT / B.Sc. in MLT or equivalent qualification.
