Spandana Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our esteemed team in Bangalore. This full-time, junior-level position seeks individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in laboratory settings. As a Laboratory Technician, you will contribute to providing quality healthcare services through accurate laboratory testing and analysis. Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment, ensuring all devices are used accurately and effectively (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in preparing samples for analysis, adhering to strict protocols to maintain integrity (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong data entry skills, ensuring accurate recording of all laboratory results and details (Mandatory skill).
  • In-depth understanding of biochemistry to perform detailed chemical analyses of biological specimens.
  • Knowledge of hematology, proficient in testing and interpreting blood-related laboratory results.
  • Competence in microscopy to examine samples at microscopic levels, providing detailed information.
  • Attention to detail in conducting laboratory tests with high precision, ensuring reliable and accurate results.
  • Ability to follow strict safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe laboratory environment for all.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures under the guidance of senior technicians and pathologists.
  • Prepare samples for testing, maintaining accuracy and adherence to prescribed protocols.
  • Accurately record and report results of laboratory tests, ensuring precise data entry into systems.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure laboratory safety protocols are consistently followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with medical and non-medical staff to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of laboratory activities for reference and regulatory compliance.
